Week 3 Devlog


Week 3's workload involved a few visual updates, including HUD animations, impact animations and particle effects, and a tweak in the way the camera works (yes finally). In addition to those, the functionality for a new missile launcher weapon was implemented along with some minor audio updates.


* flashing HP and energy bars when low


* screen flash upon taking damage



* new ship trails


* missile launcher + bullet hit effects (notice sparks and blue shield effect)
- homes in on targets


* camera tweaks
- camera was zoomed out and focuses more in front of the player for improved visibility
