Week 8 Devlog


This week, Scott implemented the functionality for almost all of the planned ship modules. Modules either give the player an active or passive bonus. More details below.


  • Repair Nanobots
    • Repairs hull slightly between levels
  • Emergency Teleport
    • Randomly teleport to a different nearby location. Then goes on cooldown.


  • Solar Collector
    • While not consuming energy, recharge energy slowly.
  • Ramming Armour

            -Take reduced damage from ramming into enemy ships. Ramming into enemy ships deals damage to those ships.


  • Scrap Recycler
    • Recycle 50% of scrap collected. For every 100 recycled scrap gain a random part.
  • Ore Purifier
    • Asteroid Drops are 50% more effective.
  • Secure Storage
    • Retain a small percentage of scrap and parts if the player was defeated at the end of a level.
  • Ore Refiner
    • Refine 50% of asteroid drops. Gain a small amount of scrap from refined drops.
  • Defective Super Enhancer
    • All Ship Upgrades are boosted by two levels. Controls are reversed.
  • Super Enhancer
    • All Ship Upgrades are boosted by two levels. (Only available late game.)
  • Tractor Beam
    • Collectables such as scrap, cargo boxes, and asteroid ore, get pulled in when nearby.

  • Weapon Overcharger
    • Temporarily increase weapon fire-rate and allow automatic fire. Then goes on cooldown.
